Hampton Inn plans move forward

The town Planning Board will review a conceptual preliminary site plan for a Hampton Inn to be constructed at the New Hartford Business Park at its meeting Monday, an agenda for the meeting said.

The Hampton Inn project has been on hold as town officials work to resolve issues surrounding access to state Route 840 from the business park.

Currently, the park has just one tenant, The Hartford Financial Services Group. A proposed building for Costello Eye Physicians & Surgeons and Mohawk Valley Urology was scotched because of delays in the Route 840 access.

Business Park Developer Larry Adler and Planning Board Chairman Elis DeLia could not be reached for comment.
