Subject: FOIL - Town Law Regarding Police
Patrols
Cathy,
To my
knowledge, there have been no resolutions to set the rates since 1993. No
changes would be reflected in the Town Codes book; only the Town Board
minutes
Gail,
According to town law ARTICLE I Outside Employment of Officers [Adopted 9-1-1993 by L.L. No. 3-1993], § 25-4. Rates and
charges, the rate for the Sangertown and St. Luke's Police patrols was $22 per
hour. At the end of the law it says:
Thereafter, the rate is to
be renegotiated and adopted by resolution. [Added 9-21-1994 by L.L. No.
7-1994]
Have there been any resolutions to change the
hourly rate since the law was enacted in 1993?
I looked in our searchable minutes that start in
June 2002 and I did not find any resolutions. Would the Town Codes that are
online reflect any resolutions that were passed to change the rate or would I
only find that information in the town board minutes?
If the minutes from 1993 to 2002 are available to
look at in your office, I would be willing to come in and look for myself.
Please let me know if that is possible.
Thank you.
Cathy Lawrence
