Concerned Citizens for Honest & Open Government has FOILed several documents from the New Hartford Central School District.

During our meeting with Mr. Gilligan and Mr. Nole back on July 31, 2007, one of the topics we discussed was school board minutes.  Mr. Gilligan informed Mr. Wiatr and myself that school board minutes on the school's website were abbreviated because the school did not feel that people would be interested in reading the minutes in their entirety.  We advised Mr. Gilligan that taxpayers should have the option of reading the entire board minutes or not as they choose.  To that end, we offered to make the entire board minutes available on our website and completely searchable.

On Tuesday, August 28, 2007, Concerned Citizens for Honest & Open Government sent an email to New Hartford Central School asking for electronic copies of all school board meeting minutes from 2005, 2006, & 2007.  We will be adding minutes, contracts and other pertinent information to this site over the months ahead.
