Subject: Follow-up to our meeting
Mr. Gilligan,
In my meeting with you and New Hartford Central
School Attorney Hallak on February 14, 2008, you indicated that the Teachers'
Contract and the Employees' Union Contract would probably be available in about
two (2) weeks. Since two weeks have passed, I just wanted to follow-up to see
if you have a more definite date that we will receive them in answer to Ed
Wiatr's FOIL request.
Also, one of the issues we addressed at our meeting
was that we had yet to receive the FOILed copy of the New Hartford
School's complete budget for the current school year
broken down by school. Since the school is currently working from that budget,
it should be readily available at this point.
I am also inquiring as to whether or not the
school's FOIL Request Form has been updated. As you recall, I gave you a copy
of the one that is currently being used by the school and it has some language
on it that is in direct violation of the Freedom of Information Law. I would
like to post a corrected form on our website.
Please update us as to when these items might be
available.
